This has to be one of the more important issues. I read that the OPEC nations have gotten a taste for selling an expensive barrel of oil and that they will be cutting back oil production to create a shortage. Lets demand that our government will send no more aid of any kind to any more of these nations. Let them get out their fat wallets and help each other. More specifically but not limited to the Palestinian refugees. If they really look at each other as brothers they need to help each other. Our help really shouldnt be needed in view of how much theyve been making from us on oil. They know our economy is bad at this time and theyre trying to stick it to us all the more. Turn about has always been fair play and its a great way to send a message. Why help some one that would just as soon kill us?

The fight against terrorism and keeping the country secure is obviously the top priority.That includes stopping illegal immigration and deporting as many illegals as possible.If we are not safe here,nothing else matters.Good or bad economic times mean nothing if we are subjected to further attacks.I would like to see the politicians use common sense for a change.There is just so much oil in the world.Let’s drill here while developing other reliable sources of energy.

My concience will not allow me to vote for any candidate that is Pro-Abortion. So, the first reason is that LIFE is more important to me than anything else – for is the base of all of our freedoms.

Secondly, I have lived in countries with socialist medicine. It’s awful. There’s a reason people come frome far and away, for our excellent medical care.

Thirdly, I believe that Obama is talking out of his hat when it comes to National Security. McCain has the knowledge and experience that Obama lacks.

Fourthly, we have GOT to stay in Iraq and Afganistan for however long it takes – because OUR PERSONAL WEALTH is not as important as freedom.

I’m proud to vote for John McCain, and deligted with his running mate, Sarah Palin.

My top most concern is with National Security. If we don’t have it our economy will suffer. America’s enemies are watching the presidential campaign. If McCain wins we have a bette chance of keeping our country safe. Too many Americans are flocking to Obama because of the economy. They are wrong to do that. They are self-absorbed because of the economic breakdown instead of our enemies. It is wrong.

Wisdom concerning national security and high moral values are the most important issues. What kind of country would we be if our leader failed to protect us from terrorists and wanted to negotiate with dictators that hate us? What would our nation become if we followed someone who believes that convenience is more important than the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? The ramifications are sadly reminiscent of past failed civilizations. May we learn from the past and not repeat others’ history.

Individual rights, which bear on many issues. Obama can be expected to attack 2nd amendment rights, and greatly enlarge the nanny state. Once people are dependent on the nanny state, they are no longer citizens, they are servants at best, slaves at worst.

The federal government should confine its activities almost exclusively to those areas where government closer to the citizen (states, counties, cities) cannot peform. The obvious area is national defense.

My number one concern is that the Social Democrats in our country with the leadership of Obama will take total control of our Federal Government. Socialism will destroy this country with endless handout programs to “spread around the wealth”. They will expand their war on wealth by taxing anybody with money and consequently will drive out all capital investments in businesses resulting in tremendous job losses and total stagnation of our economy. We can not have a Socialist for President and a Congress full of Socialists. It will doom this great country and destroy it from within.

I have read the article today about opec cutting supplies of oil to the USA. Well as far as I am concerned I think that two can play this game. I am suggesting that the USA CUT OFF ALL IMPORTS AND REFUSE IMPORTS FROM THESE COUNTRIES INCLUDING IRAN AND HUGO CHAVEZ COUNTRY. Lets see how long they can live on sand and wtihout the inmports
we send to these countries. I am sure after a few months on sand and no supplies they will be begging the USA to help them out. As far as Mr. Chavez country is concern cut off everything to them and let their new buddies get (Russia) supply them. We as Americans have lived with enough of their threats and if we all just give up 10 miles a day driving they will be eating their oil and sand. COME ON AMERICA LETS NOT BE BULLEY ANYMORE BY THESE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO DESTROY OUR WAY OF LIVE.
