No matter who gets into office, taxes will be rised to pay for this mess. I think that it's sink or swim time. Throw no further money at this problem.

No bail out for me. I'll go out of this world with my pride!

I would like a bailout, please! Why aren't individual American citizens receiving a bailout for having to pay for the bailouts? If we misappropriated our personal funds the way some these companies and individuals have, we would have to pay the price personally and would be denied any real credit...much less a bailout. This mentality is why live in a country (which I do love by the way...faults and all) where professional athletes who can kick or throw a ball around get paid 100 times more than a teacher or firefighter...go figure.

Not so much about the bail out as do they realize the true cost of crawling to the government. Everything has a price and with Obama will come all the taxes and control you gave away to be bailed out. God help capitalism.

I think Bond insurers should have the toxic assetts that were forced upon them purchased. I do not think G.E. a company that is helping Iran buld nukes should get a dime. I do not think any companies should recieve a bailout until these criminals assets are frozen and put in jail.

I'm a firm believer that the free enterprise IS just that free enterprise. It also is survival of the fittest, either get your financial game on and achieve or feel the pain of your mistakes and LEARN from them, NO BAILOUTS for any institution, OMG our fore fathers would be rolling over in their graves to SEE taxpayer monies going to mismanaged companies. If your providing a product of interest to the population you will succeed (GM has yet to do that) thus the companies that are doing and following good business practices SHOULD be rewarded by competitors going OUT of business, give the taxpayer a 700b check divided equally to each LEGAL tax paying home and let the average person decide who needs bailed out by their investments or purchases, this is absolutely INSANE.
